Mara Series 2016
Ana Kraš
Mara series is a family of laminated mdf board furniture. Named after my late grandmother Mara, it's inspired by her kitchen that was all covered in laminate. In Serbia, laminate was very popular and loved. A very durable material, not precious and easy to clean.
This collection is an ongoing exploration on how to break down archetype shapes into more surfaces - then laminate them to create different graphic experiences.
