“'Oko' is a collection of five mirrors that draws inspiration from my linear figurative drawings, referencing their expressive lines, colors, and textures. To capture the spirit of these works, I worked with Bower Studios to translate these elements into compositions of shapes that are placed at harmonious intervals alongside the mirror’s edge, forming a deconstructed, gestural frame. The juxtaposition of textured, colorful metal clips placed alongside smooth, reflective glass evokes the playful contrast of crayon on paper. This system of parts was engineered to easily move around and create a family of five wall mirror arrangements, resulting in the 'Oko' Collection.

'Oko' — which means eye in Serbian, my mother language — references our sense of self and how context frames and influences our perception.
