Stola was launched by 101, a collective founded in 2017 by Noela Covelo, Laura Fernández Antolín, Sara Gonzalez de Ubieta y Guillermo Orjales pursuing the dream of creating a platform where our practices belong. "Our aim is to weave a broader framework of artists and designers that share renewed perspectives and methodologies, where to put in common our knowledge and experience. 101 works with artwork beyond any expression of how we get dressed: the study of space, body, and matter relationships. Therefore, we understand clothing as a medium, an artistic reflection that floods the boundaries of the product."
