Third Chair is a project divided into thirds, where the designer and manufacturer who produce the components and the consumer assembling the pieces at home, are all equally involved in the completion of the chair. Third Chair does not exist without the input of all three. Third Chair is intended to encourage people to re-discover their ability to use their hands, to transform material, to make things, to use tools and to build furniture.
